How we use information
- Hauling freight: to find and book loads, including through load boards; to set up with brokers and shippers; and to dispatch, track, and deliver shipments.
- Billing and payment: to invoice for completed loads, collect payment, and work with our factoring company.
- Hiring and managing drivers: to review applications, qualify drivers, and handle pay, settlements, and employment records.
- Safety and compliance: to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and other legal requirements, including hours of service, drug and alcohol testing, vehicle inspection and maintenance, accident recordkeeping, fuel tax reporting (IFTA), apportioned registration (IRP), and audits.
- Insurance and claims: to obtain insurance and to handle cargo, accident, and other claims.
- Security and fraud prevention: to verify the identity of customers and drivers and to protect against freight fraud, double brokering, and identity theft.
- Communication: to answer inquiries and to send text messages you agreed to receive.
Location tracking
Our trucks use electronic logging devices and may use GPS tracking. We use location information to record hours of service, dispatch loads, protect drivers and cargo, and give customers shipment updates. We share a shipment’s location with the broker or shipper for that load only while we are hauling it, including through a tracking app the customer requires for that load.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser used, approximate location based on IP address, and whether the contact form was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, and Google processes it under its own privacy policy. We use this information only to improve our website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Customers on a load: the broker, shipper, or receiver gets the information needed to complete that shipment, such as driver name, truck and trailer numbers, shipment status and location, and shipping documents.
- Load boards and carrier setup services: company information, operating authority, and insurance details, so brokers can verify and book us.
- Government agencies: the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, state transportation and tax agencies, the IRS, and law enforcement, as required by law, including reports to the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Safety and compliance providers: drug and alcohol testing consortiums and laboratories, medical review officers, medical examiners, and background check and motor vehicle record providers.
- Future employers of former drivers: safety performance history, when a former driver applies with another motor carrier and federal rules require us to respond.
- Financial and professional providers: our factoring company, bank, payroll provider, accountants, insurance companies, agents, adjusters, and attorneys.
- Technology and equipment providers: our ELD and GPS providers, fuel card provider, dispatch and email software, website and form host, website analytics provider (Google), and maintenance and repair shops, only for the services they perform for us.
- Legal and business transfers: when required by subpoena or other legal process, to protect our rights and safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Email us to update your contact information or ask us to stop contacting you.
- You may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights.
Drivers’ rights
- You may review the safety performance history we received from your previous employers, ask them to correct it, and submit a written rebuttal, as federal rules allow.
- Drug and alcohol testing records are kept confidential and separate from other records, and are released only as federal rules permit or with your written consent.
- Before we take action based on a background report, we will give you a copy of the report and a summary of your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
How long we keep information
We keep records as long as the law requires and as long as we need them for business, tax, insurance, and legal purposes. Federal rules set minimum periods for many trucking records. For example, we keep driver qualification files for the length of employment plus three years, hours of service records for at least six months, vehicle maintenance records for one year and for six months after a vehicle leaves our fleet, our accident register for three years, and drug and alcohol testing records for one to five years depending on the type of record. We keep text messaging consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to honor your choices and show compliance.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to sensitive records, such as driver qualification files and drug and alcohol testing records, to people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
